diary of a dance

A movie of PIERRE BARRÉ

Synopsis

Young enthusiastic and passionate dancers prepare the show

“The Fugue of Notes”. To transmit their passion, share their universe, talk about their future or even explain their organization between school and dance, director Pierre Barré gave them mobile phones so that they could film themselves to tell us what they live, their hopes, their desires and their realities...Chloé, Calypso, Marie or Evanne talk to us with simplicity and take us behind the scenes of their school.
Another telephone is entrusted to Colette Coenraerts, the choreographer of the show and the director of the Choréart school. She will also film the rehearsals until the big day at the Cirque Royal for the performance of the show.
Added to that the director's camera which captures the key moments, the moments of emotion, linked to the creative process.
A unifying film, a film where the dream is shared, a choral film with a single goal, the famous spectacle where everything could be decided for each of them: stop, continue, persevere, change...
