Cows don't fall from the sky
A movie of Peter Anger
Synopsis
Cows don't fall from the sky, the new film by Peter Anger, is a story of men maintaining a collective memory of our history. The man-cow relationship is no coincidence. The dependence of one on the other is an adventure which began more than 12,000 years ago and which has shaped men and beasts. The bond between them is so intimate that it is impossible to tell which is the master and which the slave. To settle the terms of this binding relationship, passion had to make the connection. The film is the cross portrait of three types of breeders and three types of cows: the Belgian-style organic breeder, where breeding rhymes with a scientific approach, the Swiss family still guided by attachment to tradition and enthusiasts who agree to devote themselves to a beast of prestige.
