Brussels 1940. André, 16, joins Marcel, who has 18. Both join a very independent Resistance group, Service Hotton's Group D, and one renames himself Stan, the other Ulysse.

In 1942, they set up a maquis in the region of Chimay and Couvin. The population supports them, the Occupation fears them. Et pour cause : le « sabotage und widerstandgruppe Franckson » multiplie the flashes.
